ALUMINUM DESIGN MANUAL UPDATES:

NOVEMBER 1, 2011:  At this time, ONLY copies of the Aluminum Structures Design Manual bearing the Bennett Engineering Group corporate seal are being distributed by Bennett Engineering Group to suppliers.  We have notified the suppliers to return any design manual packets bearing the seal of Lawrence E. Bennett immediately to have them exchanged for a properly validated copy with the Bennett Engineering Corporate seal. 

OCTOBER 14, 2011: Statement from our counsel concerning the existing published design manual.  

We would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of prayers, fond memories, words of encouragement, beautiful flowers and for attending the services for our dad.   

                The Aluminum Structures Design Manual is a published manual and continues to be valid.  Copies bearing the Lawrence E. Bennett embossed seal distributed prior to Lawrence Bennett's death continue to be valid.  As Advised by our counsel, from this point forward copies of the manual distributed by Bennett Engineering Group, Inc. will bear the corporate seal of Bennett Engineering Group.  These will also be labeled “True and Correct Copy of the Aluminum Structures Design Manual signed and sealed by Lawrence E. Bennett, PE on August 17, 2011."

                We are anticipating release of revised sections of the manual in the coming months that will meet the 2010 Florida Building Code and we continue to offer site specific design.  The site specific checklist can be found on this website.
