• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from University of Florida.
• Masters Degree candidate in City Planning at Georgia Institute of Technology.
• Masters Degree candidate in Environmental Engineering at University of Florida's GENESIS program. Completed courses in Treatment of Wastewater and Solid Waste Disposal.

Military

U.S. Naval Reserve

• 1960-1966 Enlisted man / ROC training. Commissioned Ensign 9/1966
• 1966-1969 Civil Engineer Corps. Assistant Public Works Officer for a Marine Corps Air Station including assistant ROICC.
• 1969-1985 Officer in RMCB program (Sea Bee's). Served as Company Commander, Training Officer, Operations Officer and selected as Battalion Commander for RNCB-14. Served RNCB-3 as Training Officer and EFD Naural South as Executive Officer.

• Engaged in all phases of planning, development and design including increased levels of structural analysis.
• Design of structural components for various building systems.
• Developed an Aluminum Sizing Manual for Aluminum Specialty Contractors.
• Designed and developed the dye for a new aluminum patio component which received patent # US D439,680 S, March 27, 2001.
• Designed and built a prototype of an aquarium filtration system (patent pending).

• Management and design of Civil Engineering Projects for firm.
• Responsible for project and land planning, structural design and construction management.
• Coordination with local planning and regulatory agencies to obtain permit approval.
• Engineer in charge of design build project for Hudson Tool & Die plant expansion wherein 100,000 Sq. Ft. of plant retrofit for new plant layout was added involving new structural components to existing building and design of site work infrastructure for future expansions.

• Engineer in charge of design build project for 911 Plaza office complex, including site work wherein five (5) separate office buildings were constructed with virtually maintenance free exteriors for around $35.00/Sq. Ft.

• Responsible for client relations, negotiating contracts, scheduling work, supervision of design and construction, employee supervision including hiring, training and discharging of personnel.
• Supervision of engineering survey field crews.
• Firm was retained by Lowery Bros., Inc. for all "in-house" engineering for turn-key construction projects.

• Directed engineering design for preliminary and final layouts for subdivisions, apartment complexes, commercial swimming pools, package water and sewage treatment facilities, related water distribution and sewage collection systems, paving and storm drainage systems.

• Supervision of department personnel, preparation of necessary contract documents and cost estimates, client relations, construction inspections and supervision.

• Preparation of master water and sewer system plans for growth and infrastructure needs for major municipalities including preliminary designs and economic analysis of all future facilities and related funding of such facilities.

• Design of various components of water systems, sewage systems and treatment facilities which encompassed all phases of the civil discipline including hydraulic, structural, and environmental engineering.
• Generated a "Hardy-Cross" computer analysis of the City of Daytona Beach water distribution and pumping systems.
